One of my teachers blew my mind when she told me that everything man-made is, in fact, designed, just with different degrees of attention, skill, and care.
I decided then and there that I wanted to "make the world", and I've been at it ever since designing marketing, bootstrapping component libraries, pioneering processes, teaching beginning design classes to college students, planning and executing strategic research with customers, and designing and testing more features than I can count.
I try to balance being grounded in business constraints, technology and user needs with curiosity and creativity.
