One of my teachers blew my mind when she told me that everything man-made is in fact designed, just with different degrees of attention, skill, and care.
I decided then and there that I wanted to be one of the ones who make the world, and I've been at it ever since designing marketing, creating design systems, planning and executing strategic research with customers and users, bootstrapping component libraries, involving my non-design counterparts in user-centered design, and testing more features than I can count.
I try to balance pragmatism and being grounded in business and technological constraints with user advocacy, curiosity, and creativity.
