MRHI logo
A logo redesign for an environmental non-profit.
Challenge
I was approached by the Mosquito Range Heritage Initiative (MRHI) to redesign their logo in 2022.
They were maturing as an organization, and trying to develop new partnerships to secure more funding for their work. They'd had their previous logo for many years, and felt it had served them well, but that it was time to pursue a new direction for their brand.
Solution
The redesigned logo incorporates a vignette of the DeCaLiBron group, four famous Colorado 14ers, from a line drawing I'd done for MRHI the year prior. The earthy color palette honors the unique natural beauty of the mountain range, while clean and bold typography contrasts with the hand-drawn imagery and ensures readability at a variety of sizes.
