Challenge

To illustrate (and animate) a New Year's resolution.

Solution

2020 was a rough year, and I (like many others) have been reflecting on what I want to focus on in 2021.

I want to seek out more experiences in my day to day that make me happy, like eating fancy toast for breakfast, and making time for creative personal projects.

This custom motion graphic, illustrated and animated by me, is an attempt to do both of those things at once (and who doesn't love an excuse to play with After Effects?!)
